Recovering From a Stuck Tape Cartridge
When you press the Unload switch, or when the unload function is electronically
triggered, and the cartridge fails to eject, you must manually remove it.
1. Insert a flat screwdriver through the hole on the right side of the operator
panel on the tape drive.
2. Press against the spring-loaded screw inside until it stops.
3. Turn the screw clockwise until the tape cartridge releases.
Caution. In the following procedure, to avoid damage to the gears do not turn the screw driver
counter-clockwise.
