World Wide Name (WWN)

A World Wide Node Name (WWN) is a globally unique 64-bit identifier assigned to each device in

a Fibre Channel storage area network. WWNs are typically displayed as four-character hexadecimal

groups. Example: 3600-5B64-C92E-2EC1.
