Changing analysis queries
Editing an existing analysis query
Prerequisites
•
The query must be a custom query. You cannot edit a predefined query.
•
You must own the analysis query that you plan to edit or have administrative privilege with
full Capacity Advisor permissions.
Editing the query
1. In the Analysis tab, click the radio button next to the query that you want to edit.
2. In the tab menu, select Actions
→Open.
TIP: You can also open an existing analysis query by double-clicking anywhere in the row
where the query is listed.
3. Edit the query according to steps 4 – 8 in “Creating the query” (page 112) .
4. Click Save.
The analysis query is updated with the new information.
Deleting an analysis query
Prerequisites

The query must be a custom query. You cannot delete a predefined query.
•
You must own the analysis query that you plan to delete or have administrative privilege with
full Capacity Advisor permissions.
Deleting the query
1. In the Analysis tab, click the radio button next to the query that you want to delete.
2. In the tab menu, select Actions
→Delete....
3. In the dialog box that opens, confirm the decision to delete the query by clicking Yes.
(Click No to cancel the operation and return to the Analysis tab.)
The analysis query list is updated to permanently remove the deleted query.
NOTE: You cannot delete more than one analysis query at a time.
