Backup Operation
NOTE: If READCENTER data is stored by SQL Server Standard or Enterprise, backups are to be handled in accordance
with end user corporate policies.
A means of backing up the READCENTER SQL Server Express database files is available from the login screen. All users
must have READCENTER and the GALAXY Monitor software stopped or closed when this is done or the operation will not
complete successfully.
Click Backup to bring up a screen and enter the database file and backup locations.
The folder used for the Backup Location must exist prior to performing the backup. Click the Browse button for both the
Database File Location and Backup Location. Click Backup to copy files from one location to the other. Click Close after
backup is completed.
In the event that database files must be restored, please contact Badger Meter Technical Support for assistance.
