7.2 Troubleshooting SCT ® Toolbars
Gates will not open/close
Openers will not lift
Random opener sections lifting
Wing down switch will not work
Probable Cause Solution
No hydraulic pressure to
meter block.
Engage hydraulic circuit (wing down).
Check SCT ® node Check lights on front of node
Meter block PRV (pressure
relief valve) set too low. Increase PRV pressure until gates cycle (do not
exceed 500 psi).
No power at coils.
Turn master switch on.
Check fuses.
Check connections at coil and SCT
® node.
Probable Cause Solution
No hydraulic pressure to
meter block.
Engage hydraulic circuit (opener).
Meter block PRV (pressure
relief valve) set too low.
Increase pressure (factory set to 2200 psi).
No power at coils.
Turn master switch on.
Check fuses.
Check connections at coil and SCT
® node.
Probable Cause Solution
Improper look aheads.
Ensure that the look ahead number is not a neg-
ative number.
Agressiveness set too high. Turn aggressiveness off.
Improper drill setup.
Check drill setup.
Probable Cause Solution
No hydraulic pressure. Engage hydraulic circuit (wing down).
Master switch on. Turn master switch off (unfold only).
