4 The AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger
The AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger is a stand alone unit intended to charge and
automatically maintain both the AutoPulse Li-Ion Battery and the AutoPulse NIMH Battery. The
AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger has two charging bays, each with its own indicators. The
AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger is designed to charge, maintain, and test batteries for
optimum performance in the AutoPulse.
Batteries should always be properly maintained and be fully charged so that they are ready for use before
deploying the AutoPulse.

4.1 Setting Up the AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery
Charger
The AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger must be installed near the wall outlet to which it is
connected and that outlet must be easily accessible at all times. Unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet to remove power from the AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger.
Caution: Do not block the AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger’s ventilation slots.
Caution: Do not operate the AutoPulse Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger in a confined space.
Caution: Do not position the Multi-Chemistry Battery Charger so that it is difficult to unplug the power
cord.
