http://xxx.xx.xx.xxx to access to that DQP, where the xxx.xx.xx.xxx is the real IP of VPN.
Note: This port setup opens a port for possible hackers to hack your DQP hosting PC server (but not the
company server if a hacker does not know how to break the Firewall.). To protect your DQP hosting PC server
from hackers, it is recommended that you install personal Firewall software to that DQP PC server.
Remote end:
The remote PC user, only with permitted IP, can type http://xxx.xx.xx.xxx to access to that DQP, where
xxx.xx.xx.xxx is the real IP of VPN.
13: Once a port for DQP access from the networking Firewall is opened, is it possible for hackers to
mess around the DQP hosting system/server? If “yes”, how do I protect the DQP hosting
system/server?
Yes, it is possible for hackers to mess around the DQP hosting system/server once a port for DQP access from
the networking Firewall is opened. It is recommend that you install personal Firewall software to the DQP
hosting system.
14: Once a port for DQP access from the networking Firewall is opened, is it possible for hackers to
mess around the company's network server?
99% of the answer is No, unless hackers could break through the Firewall of the network.
15: How do I prevent any unauthorized person from erasing recorded video data or changing settings
on the DQP hosting system?
You can use both password protections from CyberEyes and your Windows operating system.
16. How come the “?” button for online help from CyberEyes does not work?
Because the online help is a PDF file, you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader in order for the button to be
effective.
17. How come the front panel of the DQP does not work in CyberEyes?
The front panel of the DQP works when you output video to a TV or CCTV monitor only when CyberEyes is not
running at the same time. Therefore, you may find that the front panel is disabled when CyberEyes is running.
18: I could not connect to my host PC over the Internet. Was there anything I did not do correctly?
