CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

System Overview

If you have been troubled with the standard CCTV system’s poor video quality, time consuming video retrieval,

and the constant need to swap videocassettes, then the combination of CyberEyes and DQP would definitely

be one of the solutions to your current dilemma, and more.

Since CyberEyes records everything in digital data, video can be copied and played back over and over

without losing any of its original quality. In addition, data retrieval is faster and more convenient with digital

systems than with standard CCTV systems because you can search data by date, time, location, camera, and

more rather than plodding through hours and hours of videotape.

Best of all, CyberEyes allows you to get hold of everything remotely. You do not need to be around the host

computer (the computer with the DQP connected and CyberEyes installed) to see what might happen to your

home, office, etc. Instead, all you need is to gain an access to the Internet and you will instantly be able to view

live video or play back previously recorded images at anywhere, anytime from a standard Internet browser.

Triplex (Full Duplex) Capabilities

CyberEyes allows you to simultaneously view live video, playback, and record any or all four

while performing multi-tasking operations. This important feature ensures that you will always have

continuous recording when you are viewing live video, playing back video, and archiving video at the

same time.
