5.3.5 Cell
Lifetime
The
B2CXL oxygen sensor cell is used in the Model 3000TBXL. This cell
has an expected lifetime of 6 months to 1 year from the date of installation. If
any other cell is supplied with your instrument, check the front of this
manual
(pge. viii) for special information applying to your cell.
This sensor is used for trace O2 analysis in inert gas and hydrocarbon streams.
Consult the factory for other applications.
With regard to spare cells,
the warranty period begins on the date of shipment.
The customer should purchase only one spare cell (per section 5.3.1).
Do not attempt to stockpile spare cells.
If a cell was working satisfactorily
but ceases to function prematurely
within the warranty period, contact the factory. With any warranty claim,
you must return the cell in question to the
factory for evaluation. If it is determined
that failure is due to faulty work
manship or material, the cell will be replaced
at no cost to you.
Note: Evidence of damage due to tampering or mishandling will
render the cell warranty null and void.

Fuse Replacement
The 3000TB
XL requires two 5 x 20 mm, 4 A, T type (Slow Blow) fuses.
The fuses are located inside the NEMA-4 housing on the Electrical Connec-
tor Panel, as shown in Figure 5-2. To replace a fuse:
1. Disconnect the Unit from its power source.
2. Place a small screwdriver in the notch in the fuse holder cap,
push in, and rotate 1/4 turn. The cap will pop out a few
millimeters. Pull out the fuse holder cap and fuse, as shown in
Figure 5-3.
