3.1 Lay Sections on Concrete Pad
SECTION 3 - AUTO SPIKE SYSTEM INSTALLATION
The operator and auto spike system must be installed on a flat and level concrete pad with a minimum 6 inch depth (Check local
building codes for restrictions). Reinforced concrete recommended.
Lay all tunnel plates on the concrete pad in their final configuration. Plates must
lay flat on the concrete and be level with each other. DO NOT anchor them to the
concrete at this time.
Examples:
Sections can be connected in different configurations for specific applications.
It is recommended that the “Spike” sections not exceed 12 feet for proper operation.

Extension shaft is the same length as its tunnel plate
and WILL slide back and forth for adjustment.
Spike shaft is recessed 1/2 the length of Connector Shaft on
each end and WILL NOT slide back and forth in its tunnel plate.
Operator shaft extends 1/2 the
length of the connector shaft.
