Stealth Heat Shield 2.0
Heat Shield Mounting Instructions:
1. The heat shield attaches using the Mounting Band (2)
included in the box and the other Mounting Band that came
with your Kolpin Stealth Muffler. Use the 4 Carriage Bolts
(7) on each side (top and bottom) of the Mounting Bands as
shown in the picture.
2. The Kolpin Heat Shield has three slots (top and bottom) to make
it easier to center the shield over the muffler, no matter what position
your muffler is located. (1)
3. To make the installation easier, barely start the 4 nuts on the Carriage bolts. Once
all four are “connected,” position the Heat Shield where you want it and then tighten
the 4 nuts and bolts.
