Section 10: Mounting the Flash Head
Dialight recommends the installation of one or more lightning rods near the
installed Flash Head. The lightning rods should extend a minimum of three feet
above the height of the Flash Head.
The Flash Head is mounted to the tower pedestal utilizing customer supplied ½”
hardware. Six mounting holes are provided on the Flash Head base (Figure 2).
These mounting holes will align with most tower pedestals. The Flash Head
must be installed level according to the bulls-eye level on the light engine to
maintain light output in accordance with FAA requirements.

Section 11: Maintenance
The only regular scheduled maintenance that is required for the system is to
check the Lens/ dome of Flash Head is not damaged or cracked. Replace the
Flash Head if this is the case.
