Ground Fault Neutral, 1200 A Maximum
WARNING: Danger of electrical shock or injury.
Turn OFF power ahead of the panelboard or
switchboard before working inside the
equipment or removing any component . Do
not remove circuit protective devices or any
other component until the power is turned
OFF.
Installation
1. Remove the connection bar. Loosen the four nuts on
the studs (two in each strap) located at the current
transformer and at the load end of the neutral, as
shown in Figure 1. Slide out the connection bar
assembly.

2. Mount the neutral. Place the neutral in the desired
position in the end of the box stamped LINE. Mount it
on the studs in the back of the box. as shown in Figure
2. Place a flat washer, lock washer, and nut on the
studs, as shown in Figure 3. Leave the nuts hand tight.
Align the elongated holes in the neutral with the
holes in the box and secure with eight #10-32 x 7 / 8 "
thread-forming screws, as shown in Figure 4. Tighten
the screws and nuts to 27–32 in.-lb.
