Service Reliability Center
Knowledge Management Solutions
GE’s Service Reliability Centers (SRC), an integral part
of the InSight knowledge management platform,
provide the means to troubleshoot and resolve ac-
count issues in order to provide world-class cus-
tomer service. Utilizing highly trained experts, the
SRC integrates data acquisition, software, analytics,
and domain expertise to help our customers im-
prove the reliability and efficiency of their produc-
tion assets; as well as reduce the cost of their
operations.
Once a customer has the data from one or more
assets (boilers, cooling towers, etc.) active with
InSight, the professionals of the SRC watch over
those assets … every day. They look for problems,
and notify GE field teams when they see one before
it results in a failure. It’s an extension of the GE field
team, complementing local efforts, providing a new
level of assurance and reliability.
The SRC allows our customers to move from reac-
tive to proactive management of water and process
operations, supporting sustainability over time. The
SRC helps customers’ manage alerts, issues or ques-
tions in an efficient and effective manner. Personnel
will review, identify and resolve problems long be-
fore they impact operations, as well as reveal op-
portunities for cost reduction that might not
otherwise be apparent. The SRC is a core element
of the InSight platform and strategic collaboration
and partner to the success of our customers.
Description and Use
Customer support is provided for everything from
account configuration, pump failures, feed rates,

age. The SRC will quickly vet issues to identify the
root cause and provide troubleshooting guidance
and best practices. Personnel maintain onsite
equipment in order to provide the highest level of
technical service to customers and walk them
through issues in real time.
Every customer of InSight is automatically connected
to and supported by the Services Reliability Center. The
