Notification
The Banks Ram-Air Filter comes
pre-oiled and no oiling is
necessary for initial installation.
Service the filter as specified in
the Filter Maintenance Section of
this manual.
1.
Locate the engine air filter box on
the passenger’s side of the vehicle.
Remove the cover by releasing
the four (4) clips on the side of the
housing and slide the cover toward
the engine.
2.
Remove the old air filter element
from the filter housing and replace
it with the Banks Ram-Air filter
element. Place the Banks filter
element in the right orientation
and check the filter seal is seating
properly around the housing to
ensure no leakage.
3.
Slide the tabs on the cover into
the slots on the air filter box. Press
the cover down gently and re-attach
the four (4) clips on the side to
securely clamp the cover.
