Directory
Edit a directory entry
Search for the desred entry n the drectory (see Review the directory or
Alphabetical search on page 20).
When the desred entry appears, press
SELECT. The handset
dsplays Edit number and the stored number.
If the number has more than 11 dgts, the handset only
dsplays the stored number.
Use the dalng keys to edt the number.
Press DELETE to backspace and erase a dgt.
Press and hold DELETE to erase the entre entry.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or rght.
Press and hold
PAUSE to nsert a dalng pause (a P appears).
Press SELECT to move to the name. The handset dsplays
Edit name and then the stored name.
Use the dalng keys to edt the name. Each tme you press a
key, the character on that key appears. Addtonal key presses
produce other characters on that key. Press the key repeatedly
until the desired character appears. The first character of every
word s captalzed.
Press DELETE to backspace and erase a character.
Press and hold DELETE to erase the entre entry.
Press or to move the cursor to the left or rght.
Press SELECT to confirm. The handset displays Saved and then
you hear a confirmation tone.

When the desred entry appears, press
DELETE. The handset
dsplays Delete contact? and the number.
Press SELECT to confirm. The screen displays Deleting ... and
then Contact deleted. You hear a confirmation tone.
