Telephone operation
Call waiting
When you subscrbe to call watng servce from your telephone
servce provder, you hear an alert tone f there s an ncomng
call whle you are on another call.
Press FLASH to put the current call on hold and take the
new call.
Press
FLASH at any tme to swtch back and forth between calls.
Temporary ringer silencing
When the telephone s rngng, you can temporarly slence the
rnger of the handset wthout dsconnectng the call. The next call
rngs normally at the preset volume.
To silence the handset ringer:
Press CANCEL or MUTE. The handset dsplays Ringer muted.
Temporary tone dialing
If you have pulse (rotary) servce only, you can swtch from pulse to tone dalng
temporarly durng a call. Ths s useful f you need to send touch-tone sgnals to
access your telephone bankng or long dstance servces.
Durng a call, press TONE .
Use the dalng keys to enter the number. The telephone sends touch-tone sgnals.
It automatcally returns to pulse dalng mode after you end the call.
Find handset
Use this feature to find all system handsets.
To start paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET on the telephone base when not
n use. All dle handsets rng and dsplay ** Paging **.
To end paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET on the telephone base.
-OR-
Press ,
OFF or any of the dalng keys (0-9, TONE or #) on a handset.
Press MUTE to turn off the rnger of a handset temporarly. Pagng tone contnues
on the other handset.
Do not press and hold
/FIND HANDSET for more than four seconds. It may
lead to handset deregstraton. If the handset dsplays To register HS and
