Telephone operation
Join a call in progress (for CS6114-2 only)
You can use both handsets at a tme on an outsde call.
To share an outside call:
When a handset s already on a call and you would lke to jon the call, press on
the other handset to jon the call.
To ext the call, press
OFF or place the handset n the telephone base or charger.
The call contnues untl all handsets hang up.
Chain dialing
Use ths feature to ntate a dalng sequence from numbers stored n the drectory,
caller ID log or redal whle you are on a call.
Chan dalng can be useful f you wsh to access other numbers (such as bank
account numbers or access codes) from the drectory, caller ID log or redal lst.
To access a number in the directory while on a call:
Press MENU/SELECT twce to enter the drectory.
Press or to scroll to the desred entry.
Press
SELECT to dal the dsplayed number.
To access a number in the caller ID log while on a call:
Press MENU and then press or to select Caller ID log.
Press SELECT and then press or to scroll to the desred entry.
Press SELECT to dal the dsplayed number.
To access a number in the redial list while on a call:
Press REDIAL.
Press , or REDIAL repeatedly to browse to the desred entry.
Press SELECT to dal the dsplayed number.
You cannot edt a drectory entry whle on a call. For more detals about the
drectory, see page 19.
You cannot copy a caller ID log entry nto the drectory whle on a call. For more
detals about the caller ID log, see page 22.
You cannot erase a redal entry whle on a call. See page 17 for more detals
about the redal memory.
Press
CANCEL to ext redal, drectory or caller ID log when you are on a call.
