Hold

When a call is placed on hold, any parallel phone that tries to use the same phone line will take the call off hold and pick the call.

To place a call on hold:

During a call, press

HOLD on the telephone base to place that call on hold. The HOLD key flashes when the call is placed on hold.

To release the call from hold, press

/SPEAKER, HOLD or lift the handset from the telephone base cradle.

Data port

You can connect your modem or fax machine to the telephone line through the

DATA port.
