EN-30 3000 Series Indicators
SERIAL COMMUNICATION
The Indcator nclude an RS232 seral communcaton nterface.
The setup of RS232 operatng parameters are more fully explaned n Secton 3.8. The physcal hardware connecton s
explaned n n Secton 2.2.
The nterface enables dsplay data to be sent to a computer or prnter. A computer can be used to control some functons of
the ndcator usng the commands lsted n Table 5-1.

Communcate to the ndcator usng the command characters lsted n Table 5-1.

P Prnt stable dsplayed weght (accordng to stablty settng).
CP Contnuous Prnt.
SP Prnt when stable.
xP Interval Prnt x = Prnt Interval (1-3600 sec)
Z Same as pressng Zero button
T Same as pressng Tare button
xT Download Tare value n grams (postve values only). Sendng 0T clears tare (f allowed)
PU Prnt current unt: g, kg, lb, oz, lb:oz
xU Set scale to unt x: 1=g, 2=kg, 3=lb, 4=oz, 5=lb:oz
PV Verson: prnt name, software revson and LFT ON (f LFT s set ON).
Esc R Global reset to reset all menu settngs to the orgnal factory defaults
NOTES:
• Commands sent to the Indcator must be termnated wth a carrage return (CR) or carrage return-lne feed (CRLF).
• Data output by the Indcator s always termnated wth a carrage return-lne feed (CRLF).
• The xT (preset tare) command s not avalable when LFT s set to ON.
