(2) Deep Archive and IPDirector Tab
The Deep Archive tab allows you to search for clips in the IP2Archive database and
compare their archive metadata with the archive metadata in the IPDirector or DIVA
database See section "Deep Archive Tab" on page 27.
In the IPDirector tab you can search for clips in the IPDirector database that have archive
metadata but that are unknown in the IP2Archive database. You can remove this archive
metadata from the IPDirector database. See section "IPDirector Tab" on page 28.

Managing Grids and Grid Data
3.3.1.
About Managing Grids and Grid Data
In the application most of the data is displayed in grids. Each grid consists of a number of
columns containing specific information.
The application provides you a number of functions that allow you to organize the display
of data in the grids to be clearer and more comprehensible. This will enable you to find
back information much faster.
It is possible to:

sort and filter data
•
widen and narrow columns
The data of the grids can be printed and/or exported to Excel for reporting purposes.
3.3.2.
Adjusting the Width of a Grid Column
To manually adjust the width of a particular column, drag the right or left border of the
column header until the column has the desired width.
To manually change the width of a column to fit the contents, double-click the boundary on
the right side of the column header.
3.3.3.
Sorting Grid Data
Every grid can be sorted according to the values in one of the columns. You can sort text
(from A-Z or from Z-A), numbers (from low to high or from high to low).
To sort the data in a particular column, click the column header once to sort the data in
ascending order. Click again to sort the data in descending order. An arrow next to the
column header indicates the sorting method.
