13 BusinessPhone – Cordless DT412/DT422/DT432
Description
Display icons
Call / Off hook
Appears when your Cordless is off hook.
Audio signal off
Shown when all alert signals, including ring signal, message tone,
key beep etc. are turned off. High priority messages will however
override this setting. See section “ Audible Adjustments ” on
page 104.
Battery
Always shown in the display in idle mode. When the level is low it is
time to charge the battery. See section “ Installation ” on page 110.
Loudspeaking (handsfree)
Shown when the loudspeaker is activated and the Cordless is in
Loudspeaking operation (handsfree). See section “ During Calls ” on
page 42.
New message
Appears when a new message is received. The number on the
right side of the icon shows the total number of unread messages.
The symbol will remain until the message is marked as read. See
section “ Messages ” on page 56.
Note: For voice messages the New message icon is only
an indication of received voice messages, the number does
not reflect the actual number of unread messages.
Not answered call
Added to not answered calls in the call list. The number on the right
side of the icon shows the total number of missed calls.
Key
Indicates that your keypad is locked. See section “ Settings ” on
page 94.
Padlock
Indicates that the Cordless has been locked, and has to be
unlocked with a code before it can be used. See section “ Lock/
Unlock the Cordless ” on page 71.
Headset
Indicates that a headset is connected to the Cordless. See section
“ Headset ” on page 117.
Note: A headset can only be connected if the optional
headset connector is available.
