3. Activate the Enter Unlock Password input field. Enter your user PIN and press the
Enter softkey.
Unlock the phone? appears on the display.
4. Press the Yes softkey.
Note
If you wish to permit another person to temporarily use your telephone, you can acti-
vate the telephone lock via the main menu 5 Protection > 3 Telephone lock (see
page 37). Independent of the system configuration, when the telephone lock is acti-
vated, the functionality range of the Aastra 6739i SIP telephone is restricted, incl.
possibly restricted dialling rights.
Hot Desking
The Aastra 6739i SIP telephone supports the “Hot Desking” feature. This feature
enables you to apply the user configuration of your phone to any other Aastra 6739i
type SIP telephone.
1. If the desired Aastra 6739i SIP telephone is currently in operation, press the
Logout function key and confirm the prompt with the OK softkey.
The phone restarts. Press the Loginsoftkey. The Login phone menu card appears.
2. Activate the Phone no. input field. Enter your call number and press the
Enter softkey.
3. Activate the PIN input field. Enter your user PIN and press the Enter softkey.
The phone restarts – it is configured with your configuration. If your configuration is
currently active on another Aastra 6739i SIP telephone, the other phone will be
logged out automatically.
Tip: The phone book can also be logged out using the main menu:
5 Protection > 0 Logout (see page 37).
