1. Enter the IP address or the DNS name of the OpenCom 1000 communications
system in the address line of the Web browser. Get the IP address from the
administrator of the OpenCom 1000 communications system – this IP address
is not identical with the IP address of your Aastra 6739i.
2. Confirm with the enter key to call the login page of the OpenCom 1000
communications system.
3. Enter the user name and password that the administrator of the
OpenCom 1000 communications system gave you. Confirm using the OK
button.
4. Click on the My data and terminals link. Click on the link next to the
Terminals entry.
The configuration dialogue for your Aastra 6739i opens.

5. In the configuration dialogue of the Aastra 6739i click on one of the links under
the Softkeys on terminal header.
The corresponding key configuration dialogue opens. Select the desired
function under the key type. Enter the additional information necessary for the
function. Confirm the key configuration with the Accept button.
Function keys that are changed are automatically activated on the Aastra 6739i.
