Running the Thread Cycle Program
The following messages will appear on the screen while running the
thread cycle program.
8 Move X, and Z to 0.0.
8 Ready to engage thread lever.
8 Disengage when X,Z = 0.
8 Press FIRST PASS.
8 Press START PASS.
8 Press NEXT PASS.
8 Engage lever.
8 Press FINISH PASS.
The Thread Bar T displays the rotation of the lead screw relative to an
established mark. This mark is established when the First Pass is
initially executed. All subsequent passes can now be engaged using
the Thread Bar indicator 1 when located at the center mark.
8 Press THREAD CYCLE soft key to open the form.
8 Press the ENTER key to start the program.
„ A message is displayed to “Move X, Z
0
to 0,0”.
8 Move the longitudinal axis to zero.
8 Move the cross feed axis to zero.
„ A message will be displayed “Press First Pass”.
