After the array has been created, the Main screen displays the newly created array
with an array number. The array initialization progress is also displayed.
Arrays are assigned numbers in the order they are created. For example, the first array
created is labeled with the “1” icon; the second array created is labeled with the “2”
icon, and so forth.
Note
The ExaSAN RAID controller can support a maximum of 4 arrays.
Once 4 arrays have been created, the Summary section
indicates all arrays numbers are in use and you will not be
allowed to create more arrays.
Delete an Array
Deleting an array removes the selected array, and allows the drives to be used in
another array, or reconfigured for a new array. Follow the steps to delete an array.
1. Click on the drives containing the array to be deleted.
2. Check the Confirm box. Click Delete Array to complete the process.
