7-6 WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
Before using WPS function to let your storage server get wireless LAN settings from the
access point of your wireless network, you have to make sure that your access point has
WPS function enabled and is in
“Registrar” mode and pincode for WPS is not required.
After starting WPS session on your access point, you have to finish WPS setting before
session time out.
You have to click
“Start PBC” button of your storage server to let the storage server get
wireless LAN settings from your access point.
After clicking
“Start PBC” button on the storage server, the “Start PBC” button will
disappear and it will start to count down. It will try to use WPS to get wireless LAN settings
within 120 seconds.
After counting down finished, the
“Start PBC” button will appear again. The wireless LAN
settings will become the current values of your wireless LAN.
