17-7 Easy Send
Easy Send let you easily send files to everyone including person without a user account of
the storage server. Every time when you send a file, the storage server will automatically
generate a randomly encoded download address (in text, like a URL) of the file for you.
You can send the download address to the recipients by e-mail, messengers and other
ways. Every recipient who has this download address can download the file without a user
account of the storage server. Because every download address is composed of a
randomly encoded long text string, so hackers are very difficult to guess it right.
There are three ways to start the Easy Send:
1. Select files/folders in the NetDisk Explorer and click icon in the tool bar. The
selected files/folders will be sent.
2. Select “Tools  Easy Send” in the menu of NetDisk Explorer and add files/folders in
the Easy Send window.
3. Select files/folders in Windows Explorer or NetDisk Explorer and click right button of
the mouse. Then select “Easy Send” in the pop-up menu. The selected files/folders will
be sent.
When Easy Send is started, Easy Send window will pop-up. There is a list of all files to be
sent. Easy Send will copy the files to the destination folder one by one and show the rate
of copying. You can add files by drag icons of files/folders from Window Explorer or
NetDisk Explorer and drop them into the Easy Send window. To delete a file in the list to
send, just select the file and click
“Delete” in the Easy Send window.
When Easy Send has finished copying the files/folders, you can click “Copy Links” and
Easy Send will copy the links of the files/folders into the clipboard of Windows. You can
paste the links to your e-mail, instant messenger or other files and send these links to the
recipients. The recipients can use the links to download the files without an account of
storage server. The storage server will keep the sent files for an assigned period of time
for recipients to download.
If you click
“Cancel”, than Easy Send will give up sending files and clear all copied files.
