5-9 Shared Folders Automatically Created by Quick Setup
Quick Setup will automatically create some shared folders for you. The shared folder
names and their usage are listed as follows:
Public_USB1:
You can access “Public_USB1” anonymously with reading and writing
privilege by FTP and Windows My Network Places (Samba). The absolute path in the
storage server of “Public_hdd1” is “[USB1]C:\Public\”.
Media: The folder
“Media” is located under the “Public_USB1” folder, so the folder
“Media” is also anonymously accessible by FTP and Windows My Network Places
(Samba) with reading and writing privilege. The media
files in “Media” folder can be
accessed by iTunes and DLNA compliant media adapters like Sony PS3, Xbox
360…etc. The absolute path in the storage server of folder “Media” is
“[USB1]C:\Public\Media\”.
Image: The folder
“Image” is located under the “Public_USB1\Media” folder, so the
folder
“Image” is also anonymously accessible by FTP and Windows My Network
Places (Samba) with reading and writing privilege. The image
files in “Image” folder
can be
