Troubleshooting
If you suspect a problem with the Convenience
Stapler, perform the following steps in the order
listed.
1 Ensure that the stapler cover is completely closed.
2 Check the power cord and power switch on the
printer/copier to ensure that it is plugged in and
powered on.
3 Check the power cord for the stapler to ensure
that it is plugged in (Figure 12).
4 Perform the procedure for “Clearing a stapler
jam.”
5 If the stapler is still not operating correctly, call for
assistance.
