To cascade two or more NetCommander KVM Switches, follow the instructions below.

Connect up to 256 computers* using any combination of B072-008-1 and B072-016-1 KVM switches.
The cascaded KVM can be located up to 33 ft. (10m) from the master KVM, and connected computers/
servers can be located up to 33 ft. (10m) from the cascaded KVM, allowing you to locate a computer/
server up to 66 ft. (20m) from the master KVM switch. You can only cascade one (1) extra level of KVM
switches.

*when all 16 ports have a B072-016-1 cascaded from them

Connect a CPU port on the NetCommander KVM Switch to a B078-001-PS2 SIU using a Cat5/5e/6

Note: In order to access the cascaded KVM's OSD, you must change the cascaded KVM's Hotkey (see

page 10 for details). Once the cascaded NetCommander KVM Switch is accessed, the only way to
access the cascaded KVM's ports is via the cascaded KVM's keyboard Hotkeys or OSD. If the cas-
caded KVM's OSD security is set to On, the only way to access the cascaded KVM's ports is by
using your password to access the OSD.
