Error messages Possible causes Solutions
Page Info. Error Page information command error Printing possibly failed or was
suspended before it was completed.
Open the “print” dialog box. Delete all
suspended print data. Hold down the
[Cancel] key on the Operation Panel until
the Data LED goes out.
After that, press the [Pause] key.
Ensure that “Ready” appears on the
Operation Panel. Perform printing
again.

Reboot both your computer and the
printer.
Unable to respond No response can be returned to
your host computer. If no status is required to be obtained
from the printer, uncheck the “Obtain
printer information” checkbox on the
“Device Settings” tab in the printer driver.
In addition, if no error messages are
required to be displayed on your
computer, uncheck the “Get error
message” checkbox on the “Device
Settings” tab in the printer driver.
Overheated thermal
head The thermal head is overheated. Wait for a while. The printer restarts
printing automatically as soon as the
thermal head is cooled down.

Bad thermal head There is a broken element in the
thermal head. It is recommended to replace the thermal
head.
Paper near end The printer nearly runs of the
media. Get ready to replenish the media.
Checking head unit The thermal head is being
checked. Wait for a while.
