MEMORY OPERATION

You can store up to 10 phone numbers
in the TAD-1010’s memory, then quickly
dial them.

Note: Each phone number can be up to
16 digits long.

Storing a Number in Memory

1. Press

OFF

on the handset.

2. Press

PROG

. The TALK indicator

flashes.

3. Press the number (

0

9

) of the mem-

ory location where you want to store
the phone number.

Note: If you do not complete Steps
2 and 3 within 30 seconds, the tele-
phone exits this procedure. Start
again from Step 2.

4. Using the handset, dial the number

you want to store.

Notes:

• To store the last number dialed,

press

REDIAL

.

• For security purposes, we recom-

mend that you do not store pri-
vate numbers, such as personal
identification numbers or pass-
words.

• If you have pulse service and

want to use tone dialing, press

TONE

at the appropriate place

in the number sequence.

• To store one or more pauses in

the memory number, see “Stor-
ing a Pause in Memory” on
Page 21.

• Each pause or

TONE

entry

counts as one memory digit.

5. Press

MEM

(memory) to store the

number in memory. The phone
rings once.

Note: If you hear a long buzzing
tone, the number is not stored.
Repeat the procedure.

Repeat this procedure for each number
you want to store.

Notes:

• To change or replace a stored

number, simply enter a new num-
ber in its place.

• To erase a number from memory,

repeat this procedure, but skip
Step 4.
