to define whether

Show images

to show or hide the

images on browser pages.

Font size

to select the size for text

shown on browser pages.

Character encoding

to select the

character set that the phone uses
for showing browser pages that do
not include that information or to
select whether to always use UTF-8
encoding when sending a Web
address to a compatible phone.

Cookie settings

You can set the phone to allow or
prevent receipt of cookies.

A cookie is data item, for example your
user information, that the service
saves in the cache memory of your
phone. Cookies are deleted if you clear
the cache memory, see page

Making a connection to a
browser service

1. Activate the settings of the service

that you want to use:

In the

Services

menu, select

Settings

and

Connection settings

.

Select

Active service settings

, scroll

to the desired connection set and
press

Activate

.

2. Make a connection in one of the

following ways:

• Open the start page, for

example the homepage of the
service provider: In the

Services

menu, select

Home

. OR: Press

and hold

in standby mode.

• Select the bookmark of the

service: In the

Services

menu,

select

Bookmarks

and the

desired bookmark.

If the bookmark does not work
with the current active service
settings, activate another set of
service settings and try again.

• Key in the address of the

service: In the

Services

menu,

select

Go to address

, key in the

address (press

for special

characters), and press

OK

.
