Select the desired enhancement, for

Depending on the enhancement, you
can select some of the following
functions:

Default profile

to select the profile

that is automatically activated
when you connect the selected
enhancement to the phone.

Automatic answer

to set the phone

to automatically answer an
incoming call after five seconds. If
the

Incoming call alert

is set to

Beep once

or

Off

, automatic answer

cannot be used.

Lights

to set the lights permanently

on (

) or to remain on for 15

seconds after a keypress
(

Automatic

).

Ignition detector

and

to set the

phone to automatically switch off
about 20 seconds after the car’s
ignition is turned off. This function
is shown if the phone is or has been
connected to the full car kit.

Use text phone

and

to use the

text phone settings instead of
headset or loopset settings with a
text phone.

Enhancement indicators in
standby mode

When a compatible enhancement is
connected to the phone, the
corresponding indicator (for example

) is shown in standby mode.

Note: When security features
that restrict calls are in use
(call barring, closed user
group and fixed dialling), calls
may be possible to certain
emergency numbers in some
networks (e.g. 112, 911 or
other official emergency
numbers).

Select

PIN code request

to set the phone

to ask for your PIN code every time
the phone is switched on. Some
SIM cards do not allow this setting
to be changed.

Call barring service

to restrict the

calls that can be made or received
with the phone (network service).

Fixed dialling

to restrict calls and

text messages from your phone to
selected phone numbers, if allowed
by your SIM card (network service).

When the fixed dialling is on,
(E)GPRS connections can only be
used for sending text messages.
The recipient’s phone number and
the message centre number have to
be included on the fixed dialling
list.
