Personal shortcuts
You can select the function for the
right selection key shown in standby
mode and the functions (’personal
shortcuts’) that can be accessed by
pressing
Go to
in standby mode or by
entering the
Go to
menu.

To access this menu: Press
Menu
in
standby mode, and select
Settings
and
Personal shortcuts
. Select

Right selection key
to select the
function for the right selection key.
•
Select Go to options
to select the
functions for your shortcut list.
Scroll to a function and press
Mark
to add it to the list. To remove a
function from the list, press
Unmark
. To save the changes, press
Done
and
Yes
.

Organise Go to options
to change
the order of the functions on the
list. Scroll to the desired function,
press
Move
and select where you
want to move the function to.
Connectivity
In this menu you can connect the
phone to a compatible device via an
infrared connection and define when
the phone connects to the (E)GPRS
network.
Infrared
The phone has an infrared port for
connecting it to another IrDA
compliant device, for example to send
business cards or calendar notes.
To activate the infrared port: Press
Menu
in standby mode, and select
Settings
,
Connectivity
and
Infrared
.
Do not point the IR (infrared) beam at
anyone's eye or allow it to interfere
with other IR devices. This device is a
Class 1 Laser product.
Sending and receiving data via IR
• Ensure that the infrared ports of
your phone and the other device
are pointing at each other and that
there are no obstructions between
the devices. The preferable distance
between the two devices in an
infrared connection is one metre at
the most.
• To receive data, activate the
infrared port by accessing this
menu. If data transfer is not started
within two minutes, the
connection is cancelled and has to
be started again.
• To send data from your phone,
select the function from which you
want to send data over the infrared
connection.
