amount of free and used shared
memory and the amount of
memory used by different

Automatic keyguard
to set the
keypad to lock automatically after
a certain length of time when the
phone is in standby mode. See also
To activate the automatic
keyguard, select
On
and set the
time after which the keypad is
locked. To deactivate the automatic
keyguard, select
Off
.
Note: When Keyguard is on,
calls may be possible to the
emergency number
programmed into your
phone (e.g. 112, 911 or
other official emergency
number). Key in the
emergency number and
press
. The number is
displayed only after you
have keyed in its last digit.

Cell info display
to set the phone to
indicate when it is used in a cellular
network based on the Micro
Cellular Network (MCN)
technology (network service).

Welcome note
to define a note that
is shown briefly when the phone is
switched on. To save the note, press
Options
and select
Save
.

Network selection
to set the phone
to automatically select a cellular
network
that is available in your
area (
Automatic
) or to select the
desired
network
from a list
(
Manual
).
The selected
network
must have a
roaming agreement with your
home
operator
’s network. If
No
network access
is displayed, select
another
network
.
The phone stays in manual mode
until automatic mode is selected or
another SIM card is inserted into
the phone.

to set the phone to show
confirmation messages when you
use SIM card services.

phone to show help texts that
guide you in using the menu

Start-up tone
to set the phone to
play a tone when the phone is

You can define the settings that the
phone uses by default when it is
connected to a compatible
enhancement.
To access this menu: Press

in
standby mode, and select

.
