Battery pack care
•Remove the battery pack from the
camcorder after using it, and keep it in a cool
place. When the battery pack is installed to the
camcorder, a small amount of current flows to
the camcorder even if the POWER switch is set
to OFF. This shortens battery life.
•The battery pack is always discharging even
when it is not in use after charging. Therefore,
you should charge the battery pack right before
using the camcorder.
The life of the battery pack
If the battery indicator flashes rapidly just after
turning on the camcorder with a fully charged
battery pack, the battery pack should be replaced
with a new fully charged one.
Charging temperature
You should charge batteries at temperatures from
50°F to 86°F (from 10°C to 30°C). Lower
temperatures require a longer charging time.

What is the “InfoLITHIUM” battery
pack
The “InfoLITHIUM” battery pack is a lithium
battery pack which can exchange data with
compatible video equipment about its battery
consumption.
Sony recommends that you use the
“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack with video
equipment having the
mark.
When you use this battery pack with video
equipment having the
mark, the
video equipment will indicate the remaining
battery time in minutes.* However, if you use it
with video equipment not having this mark, the
remaining battery capacity will not be indicated
in minutes.
* The indication may not be accurate depending
on the condition and environment which the
equipment is used under.
Tips for using the battery pack
Cuidados del paquete de batería
•Extraiga el paquete de batería de la
videocámara después de utilizarla y guarde el
paquete en un lugar frío. Al instalar el paquete
de batería en la videocámara, una pequeña
cantidad de energía fluye a la videocámara
aunque el interruptor POWER esté ajustado en
OFF. Esto reduce la duración del paquete de
batería.
•El paquete de batería siempre está
descargándose incluso cuando no se utiliza
después de cargarlo. Por tanto, debería cargar

Se recomienda cargar las pilas en lugares con
temperaturas entre 50°F y 86°F (10°C y 30°C). Las
temperaturas bajas requieren un tiempo de carga
mayor.
