Playing Voice Memos

Display a picture
with an attached
voice memo in full-
frame playback, or
select it with thumb-
nail playback, and
press m.
• Pictures with voice memos are indicated by the P icons.
• The playback menu is displayed.

Press the multi selector G or H to
choose [Voice memo] and press d.
• For information on using the multi selector,
see “Multi Selector” (c 8).

Press d to listen to the voice memo.
• Playback ends when the voice memo ends or
d is pressed again.
• Press t (j) or v (k) to adjust the volume.
• Press I to return to the playback menu
without listening to a voice memo.
Deleting Voice Memos
Select a picture with a
recorded voice memo and
press T. Choose P and
press d to delete the voice
memo only. Choose [Yes]
to delete both the picture
and its voice memo.
j Voice Memos
• Voice memo file names are the same as those of the images they attach to
except that the extension is “.WAV”, e.g., “DSCN0015.WAV” (c 103).
• If a voice memo already exists for the current picture, it must be deleted before
a new voice memo can be recorded.
• A voice memo may not be able to be attached to pictures recorded by another
make or model of digital camera.
