When you selected a color filter:
c Press the shutter release button.
The picture will be taken.
When you selected the slim filter:

Use the four-way controller ( )
to set the slim rate.

• Digital Zoom cannot be used while the slim filter is selected.
• To change the slim rate, select another filter once, and then
select the slim filter again and set the slim rate.
• If you set a slim rate other than zero (0), only the picture zone
displayed on the LCD monitor is recorded as an image.

Taking Pictures with Digital Filters (Digital Filter Mode)
Digital filters include the color filters and a slim filter which elon-
gates the subject vertically or horizontally.
● Color filters
Eight colors, black and white, sepia, red, pink, violet, blue, green
and yellow, are provided for the color filters. When you select a
color filter in the Digital Filter mode, the display on the LCD moni-
tor is filtered with the selected color, and the pictures are taken in
that color.
● Slim filter
By selecting slim filter, subjects can be photographed elongated
vertically or horizontally in 8 steps.

Set the Mode dial to in Capture mode.

Use the four-way controller ( ) to select a digital fil-
ter you want to use.
