Some service providers require additional information to ‘log on’ to their server.
You may need the following information when using some service providers.
7.4.2.4 IPv6 Support
The proliferation of users and devices connected to the Internet necessitated an
expanded addressing system for TCP/IP. Windows CE .NET supports the next gen-
eration of network layer protocol, Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), which pro-
vides increased data security and the maximum number of user addresses. IPv6
increases the address space from 32 to 128 bits, providing for a generally unlimited
POP3 or IMAP4 server address
(for incoming messages). From your ISP/administrator e.g.
“pop3.myisp.com”.
SMTP server address (for outgo-
ing messages). From your ISP/administrator e.g.
“smtp.myisp.com”.
E-mail Address (your personal
address). From your ISP/administrator e.g.
