Meter comes with a pre-installed 3.0 V (#2032 or
equivalent) lithium battery. The battery will provide you with enough
power to perform about 1,000 tests. When replacing the battery, use only
a 3.0 V (#2032 or equivalent) lithium battery.
The meter will alert you when the power is getting low by displaying two
different messages:
The
symbol appears on the display
with mg/dL when the meter is turned on
and all other display messages are func-
tional. From the time the
symbol
first appears, there is enough power left
for about 50 tests. The test results will
be accurate, but it is time to change the
battery.
