Using Fax as a Telephone Set
This machine can be used as a telephone set, in addition to a fax machine.
Making a Telephone Call

Check that the display is shown as the Fax screen.
If not, press the "Copy/Fax" key to switch.

Using the keypad on the telephone unit or the Keypad on the FAX, enter the telephone
number of the receiving party.

The telephone unit now operates as a normal telephone.

Once the voice call is completed, hang up the telephone.
Receiving a Telephone Call

When using as a telephone, the telephone rings indicating that a call is coming in. Pick up
the telephone. Now you can talk to the calling party over the phone.
Note: When you pick up the telephone with the machine in the Tel mode and find
that the call received is a fax communication press the "Start" key.

Once a voice call has been completed, hang up the telephone.
