Basic remote control operations for other components
Storing the remote control code of the other
components
The remote control unit can store the remote control code of the other
components and you can operate the other components from the remote
control unit. The remote control code is stored on the key or memory of
the remote control unit.
Storing on the key
You can store the remote control code to the key as shown below:

Point the transmitting part of infrared ray of another remote
control unit to the receiving part of the remote control unit.

Press and hold the LEARN key for 3 seconds until blinks
twice, then release the LEARN key.

Press any of the Source keys (DVD/6CH, VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2,
VIDEO 3, CD/DVD, PHONO, AV AUX, MD/TAPE, TV MODE) to
select the input of the desired remote control unit.
• While in Tuner mode, learning code function is not available.

Press the desired key of the remote control unit.
• “LEARN” and appear on the display.

From the remote control unit of the other source, press the key
that you want to store.
• The remote control code is sent to the remote control unit.
• “OK” appears when finished.
• If the code cannot be stored after a few attempts, “ERROR” will
appear. Repeat from step
2 onwards.

The remote control code is stored on the key of this remote
control unit.

To exit the learning mode, press and hold the LEARN key for
3 seconds until

To clear the stored remote control code of the other sources:
