Base station settings

Changing the name of the base
station
The names "Base station 1" to "Base
station 4" are assigned automatically. The
name of the base is handset-dependent,
i.e. the base station receives the name
which was assigned by the handset. The
same base station can have different
name on different handsets. You can
change the name of your base station.

Edit .
~ Enter a new name with up to
16 -characters (p. 61).
Save Now press the display key to
save the setting.
Repeater support
With a repeater you can increase the range
and reception strength of your base
station; the repeater must be registered.
To use the repeater you must first activate
the repeater mode. This will cancel any
calls that are in progress.

Restoring the base station to
factory settings
When the settings are restored the hand-
sets are still registered. The following set-
tings are not reset:
u System PIN
u "First ringer tone suppressed" setting
