Verify the network configuration in Windows 2000 (NetBEUI)
Verify that "NetBEUI Protocol" and "Client for Microsoft Networks" have been added in the
network configuration of Windows 2000.

Control Panel

Network and Dial-up Connections
.
2. View the properties of
Local Area Connection
.
3. Click Properties on the main screen to bring up the properties screen.
4. Verify that
Client for Microsoft
Networks
has been added.
- If Client for Microsoft Networks was
not displayed, click install and select
client - then Client for Microsoft
Networks .
5. Verify that NetBEUI Protocol has
been added.
- If the NetBEUI Protocol was not
displayed, click the Install and select
Protocol then NetBEUI Protocol .
