Changing crossover frequency
Change the level above which subwoofer frequencies are cut, to adjust the balance
with the front speakers. When the speaker setting is "SMALL", low frequencies from
the speaker are cut. It is recommended to set the level slightly above that of the low-
est front speaker frequency (the lowest reproducible frequency).
(*) indicates the default setting.
Note:
The crossover frequency setting is invalid when playing DVD-Audio discs.
Note:
You cannot change the amplifier settings unless the input source is set to DVD/CD.

Set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 2 and press the AMP SET
UP button.

Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
select "X-FREQ", and press the ENTER but-
ton.

Within 10 seconds, press the or button to
select frequency and press the ENTER but-
ton.

Press the RETURN
button twice.
The setting is complete.
Adjustable frequency
range
Recommended frequency range
80 Hz
The lowest reproducible frequency of the front speakers
is below 80 Hz.
100 Hz *
The lowest reproducible frequency of the front speakers
is between 80 and 100 Hz.
120 Hz
The lowest reproducible frequency of the front speakers
is between 100 and 120 Hz.
150 Hz
The lowest reproducible frequency of the front speakers
is between 120 and 150 Hz.
In the stop mode, you can change the amplifier settings on the TV
screen.

Set the MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE
2 and press the AMP SET UP button.
The amplifier setting screen appears.

Press the or button to select the menu and press the ENTER
button.

Press the , , or button to change the
setting and press the ENTER button.
Repeat the operation as instructed.
(The number of repetition depends on the setting item.)
To change other settings, begin from step 2.
