Connect the main unit and amplifier unit as follows.

Connect the main unit and AV selector as follows.
To connect:
Insert the cable until it clicks, with the arrow facing up (main unit) and facing down
(AV selector).
To disconnect:
Pull the cable straight out pressing the plug.
Notes:
" If your TV is not equipped with a component video input, it is not necessary to con-
nect the component video cable between the main unit and the AV selector.
" If your TV is equipped with a component video input, then you should connect the
component video cable between the main unit and the AV selector, and be sure to
connect an additional component cable between the AV selector and the TV.

Connect the AV selector and TV.
Notes:
" You can enjoy higher quality images using the component video or S-video output.
Use a commercially available cable. (see page 17).
" Alternatively, connect the video output jack on the main unit to the TV's video input
jack to view images.
" Change the TV input in accordance with the connected jack.
" Do not connect other equipment between the TV and AV selector. If a VCR is con-
nected, pictures may be distorted.
" Using the audio cable, you can listen to the TV sound with this unit (see page 61).
Connecting other equipment (See pages 61 - 65.)
Connect the supplied system connection cable (for signal/sound/power).
To connect:
Match the colors when connecting the cables.
Insert the cable until it clicks, with the arrow
side up.
To disconnect:
Pull the cable straight out pressing the plug.

2 Connect the supplied component video cable and S-video cable.
3 Connect the supplied coaxial digital cable and audio cable.

Use the supplied video cable.
You can connect a DVD recorder, VCR, etc. to the AV selector to enjoy the
sound through the speakers.
