Setting the date and time
If you have not yet set the date and time,
press the display key §Time§ to open the
input field.
To change the time, open the input field
via:

Changing multiple line input:
Date:
Enter day, month and year in 6-digit
format.
Time:
Enter hours and minutes in 4-digit for-
mat, e.g. Q M 1 5 for
7:15 a.m.
§Save§ Press the display key.

Control key
In this user guide, the side of the control
key that you will have to press in the rele-
vant operating situations is marked black
(up, down, right, left) (e.g. v for "press
right of the control key").
The control key has a number of different
functions:
When the handset is in the idle state
s Open the directory.
v Open main menu.
u Open list of handsets.
t Press briefly: Setting handset
ringtones (page 21).
Press and hold: Initiate voice
dialling (page 14).
In the main menu and in input fields
Using the control key you can move the
cursor up t, down s, right v or left
u.
In lists and submenus
t / s Scroll up/down line by line.
v
Open submenu or confirm
selection.
u Go back one menu level, or
cancel.
During an external call
s Open the directory.
v Open menu.
u Initiate a consultation call.
t Adjust loudspeaker volume for
earpiece and handsfree mode.
Display keys
The functions of the display keys change
depending on the particular operating sit-
uation. Example:
1 The display keys' current functions are
shown in the bottom display line.
2 Display keys
Press the display key below to launch the
function.
The most important display symbols are:
} Left display key, as long as it
has not been assigned a func-
tion (page 18).
¨ Open the main menu or a
context dependent menu.
W Delete key: backspace deletes
one character at a time.
Î Go back one menu level or
cancel operation.
