Setting Abbreviated Dialing

To activate Ph. Book Match feature:

1. Press

to access the main menu.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Others.

4. Select Abbrev. Dial.

5. Select Ph. Book Match.

6. Select Enable.

To set your prepend number:

1. Follow steps 1-4 above.

2. Select Prepend.

3. Select Enable.

To deactivate this feature, select Disable during step 3 above.

4. Select Prepend#.

5. Enter a five- or six-digit number (for example, an area code

and prefix) and press

(left softkey).

Tip:

To dial the prepend number, see “Using Abbreviated Dialing” on

page 23.

Note:

This setting does not apply to 911 or Directory Assistance.
